Several Area Senior Athletes Set to Compete at NCK All-Star Games at Cloud County

Top senior area athletes are set to compete at another annual All-Star game this Saturday and Sunday April 8th and 9th as Cloud County Community College will host the North Central Kansas All-Star games. 

Volleyball action will get things going on Saturday at 3:00pm at Cloud County in Arley Bryant Gym, while the girls and boys basketball games are set for Sunday starting at 2:00pm with the girl’s game and the boy’s game to follow. 

Five area athletes and one area coach will participate in the volleyball action. Axtell Eagle Head Coach, Pam Buessing will serve as one of the coaches in the contest, while two of her players from Axtell will compete in the All-Star game as Anna Buessing and Maddy Kuckelman were selected. Shay Duer of Onaga, Cammie Miller of Washington County and Maggie Bott of Linn were also selected to participate in the volleyball All-Star game. 

Girls’ basketball contest is set to feature one area coach along with four area senior athletes. Hanover Wildcat girls Head Coach, Chris Beikmann is set to coach in the All-Star game and two of his players in Ashton Jueneman and Riley Doebele were selected to play in the contest. Centralia Panther, Cassidy Haufler and Wetmore Cardinal, Dakota McQueen both were also selected to participate in the All-Star game. 

The boys’ basketball contest will feature one area coach, while three area senior athletes will compete. Marysville boys Head Coach, Scott Brown will coach in the All-Star game and one of his players in Adam Lindhorst was selected to participate in the game. Matt Barnes of Clifton-Clyde and Bryson Patch of Holton both were also selected for the All-Star game. 

NCK All-Star games are set for this weekend Saturday and Sunday at Cloud County.
