Jeff West Boys Golf Wins Santa Fe Trail Invite

Jeff West Tigers stepped outside the area competition and hit the Hidden Springs golf course in Overbrook as part of the Santa Fe Trail Invite. 

The Tigers put together the best four-man team score on the day notching a score of 356 to take first place of the six different schools in action and won by 11 strokes. 

Individually out of the 38 golfers in action Jeff West was led by a trio of Top 10 finishes. Preston Stanley led the way for the Tigers carding an 82 to take first by two-strokes. Cooper Mickens placed fifth with an 88 and Zach Murdock tied for seventh after a score of 90. 

Three other golfers were also in action for Jeff West on the day as Isaac Dickey who tied for 13th with a 96 finished out the four-man team score for the Tigers and Gavin Schwinn tied forth 19th (100), while Charlie Roy finished 22nd (102).

The golf season continues for Jeff West on Thursday, April 27th at the St. Mary's Invitational.
