Several area teams teed it up at Rolling Meadows golf course on Thursday competing in the St. Mary's Invitational. 

Sabetha Bluejay boy's golf team continued to perform well posting the best four-man team score finishing with a 339 to take first out of 10 teams winning by two strokes. Bluejays just edged Nemaha Central who posted a team score of 341 to take second place. Vermillion earned third place as a team with a 357 and Jeff West took fourth with a 382 team score. Finishing out the team scores on the day was Council Grove in fifth (382), Rossville sixth (400), St. Mary's seventh (431), Silver Lake eighth (452), Lyndon ninth (475) and Perry Lecompton tenth (481). Horton also had golfers in action at the tournament. 

On the way to first place as a team Sabetha was led by multiple Top 10 performances including Jesse Burger who finished second place after shooting a 79. Garrett Scott, Noah Garber and David Pierson placed sixth, eighth and tenth with rounds of 84, 87 and 89 to finish out the Bluejays four-man team score. 

Nemaha Central Thunder, Dylan Enneking claimed the best round of the day shooting a 75 to win by four strokes, while his teammate, Billy Mitchell placed third after shooting an 80. 

Jeff West Tigers had one golfer notch a Top 10 performance as Cooper Mickens shot a 86 to finish seventh.
