Twin Valley League Boys Golf Teams Compete Against Each Other at Onaga Invite

It was Twin Valley League competition in boy's golf on Monday as Onaga played host to fellow TVL teams to keep the season rolling. 

Only Vermillion and Onaga had enough golfers in action on the day to field teams and Vermillion won that dual posting a team score of 402, while Onaga finished with a team score of 500. 

Leading the way individually was a pair of Linn Bulldogs who posted the best two rounds of the day. Andrew Meyer was the only player to finish below 90 on the scorecard posting an 89 on the links to take first place, while his teammate, Chase McGatlin shot a 90 to take second place. 

Vermillion had five of the Top 10 performances of the 26 golfers on the day with Jason Gore leading the way as he tied for third after shooting a 93. Kenton Talley and Spencer Dressman tied each other for fifth place as shooting 99 each on the course. Austin Hardwick tied for seventh with a 102, while Josh Tynon shot a 108 to finish ninth place. 

Washington County was led by Evan Ouellette who tied for third place after shooting a 93. 

For Valley Heights Bryan Yungeberg and Dylan Wagner notched seventh and tenth place finishes. Yungeberg tied for seventh with a 102 and Wagner notched a score of 109 to place tenth.
