The volleyball season rolled along on Saturday with a round robin tournament at Jeff West as the Tigers hosted five other teams for the action. 

Leading the way on the day was Silver Lake who posted a perfect 5-0 mark on the court winning in straight sets in four of the five matches but needed three sets to take down Royal Valley. Santa Fe Trail earned second on the day with a 4-1 mark falling only to Silver Lake, while beating Jeff West, Oskaloosa and Valley Falls all in straight sets, while taking down Royal Valley in three sets. 

Royal Valley Panthers had the best performance for area teams going 3-2 playing a three contest in four of their five matches picking up wins over Jeff West and Valley Falls in three sets, while beating Oskaloosa in straight sets. 

Oskaloosa, Valley Falls and Jeff West all posted a 1-4 record on the day finishing fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively based on tie breakers. The Bears lone win came in three sets over Valley Falls, while the Dragons beat Jeff West in three sets and Jeff West topped Oskaloosa in straight sets.
