By Mike Smith

Football season is officially in the books and of course that means All-League honors have been awarded and the Twin Valley League has announced the 11-Man division All-League honors. There are only four teams in the 11-Man division of the TVL, which will change next season, but their are plenty of great playmakers across the board in the TVL.

The Centralia Panthers won the Twin Valley League title yet again this season and made it back to the Class 2-1A state title game this year to defend their title, but came up just short falling to Meade 28-25 to finish as state runner ups and 12-1 on the season. The Panthers earned the most All-League first teamer's with 14 and All-League players total with 18. Centralia only graduates five seniors and looks to be fully loaded next year to be competing for a state title, yet again.

Junior, JT Rosine earned all league honors at three position with first team honors at quarterback, free safety and kicker, while his teammates Sam Steinlage, Devin Rempe and Brock Alverson all earned first team offense and defense. Brett Burdiek notched first team offense and second defense, with Joey Ferron doing the opposite with first team defense and second team offense. Hunter Haufler and Darrian Turner were the other two Panthers earning All-League honors as Haulfer notched first team offense on the line and Turner second defense at defensive back.

Valley Heights Mustangs earned the second most All-League players with 10 total; seven of which were first teamer's. The Mustangs finished the season 3-6 this season. Leading the way in the All-League honors for the Mustangs was Tanner Trimble who was first team All-League at runningback, corner, punter and return specialist. Dylan Parker notched first team offense and defense for the Mustangs while Sheldon Kenworthy earned both second team honors on both sides of the ball. Sean Hudson was the only other Mustangs to earn All-League honors, getting the nod at defensive line, first team.

The Onaga Buffalos enjoyed a playoff season going 6-4, winning their district and winning a TVL league game for the first time in seven years. The Buffalos were lead by many players and saw nine total All-League honors earned with four being first team.

For the Buffalos, Thomas Eisenbarth and Mychel Kolterman both earned All-League both ways on defense and offense for their performance this season. While Mitchell Kufahl earned second team honors on both sides of the ball for the Buffalos, also. Rounding out the All-League honors for the Buffalos this season was Michael Bliss at runningback on second team offense and Kyle Bliss and Dalton Blow both second team on defense.

For the Washington County Tigers they registered seven players on the All-League teams with four getting the first team nod. The Tigers finished the season 3-6 on the year. The Tigers saw lineman, Calvin Portenier and Bryan Otott both earn All-League first and second team offense and defense, while three other Tigers picked up second team honors.
