For the third time this season the Holton girls’ golf team picked up a first place finish in a meet, as the Lady Cats went on the road Monday and claimed the top spot at the Jeff West Invitational.

The Lady Cats finished with a team score of 385, winning by two strokes over Piper while posting the best team score in program history.

Sarah Holaday led the way once again taking the top spot in the meet, while Taylor Stevens finished fourth and Faith Holaday 12th.

The team win marked the third for the Lady Cats this season, as Holton took the Jeff West quad in their first meet of the year before taking the Spring Hill Invitational last week.

The Lady Cats will next be in action Monday, competing at the Silver Lake Invite.
