Wamego Cross Country Invitational – Results

Area cross country teams continued their seasons Saturday at the Wamego Invitational and the best area finishes on the girl’s side came from Doniphan West who had three runners inside of the top 16.

Chloe Clevenger had the best finish for the Mustangs taking seventh with a time of 21:32.8 which broke the school record for a 5k time.

Clevenger was joined by Elle Williams who finished 15th while Claire Cole finished right behind in 16th place.

The best boy’s finish came from Sabetha who had Charlie Bestwick finish in 37th place while Braden Menold took 51st out of nearly 200 runners between classes 1-2-3A.
