Quenton Barron scored four touchdowns on just nine total carries and ran for 166 yards as Riverside shutout Horton 55-0 to improve their record to 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in 2A District play.  Kobe Davis was 6-9 for 134 yards passing, all in the first half, including a 42 yard TD toss to Isaac Webb and another 43 yard touchdown pass to Bradley Libel.  The Riverside defense allowed Horton just 32 total yards in the game that featured a running clock through the entire second half.  Horton failed to gain positive yards on 26 of their 45 plays and the Cyclones registered 22 tackles for a loss.

Charlie Grable and Braden Chalfant also scored as the Cyclones scored on two of just four total plays they were able to run in the second half.  The finished with 396 total yards of offense and averaged more than 16 yards per carry.  Ceynaan Bryd and Xavier Stillman shared "Lineman of the Game" honors for helping dominate both sides of the line of scrimmage. Barron was the "Player to Bank on" with double-digit tackles on top of his huge rushing night with four scores. Riverside will host Pleasant Ridge next week and will also be cheering for Nemaha Central to beat MH-MA, which would give the Cyclones a home playoff game in week nine.

On senior night, Horton's was minus seven players, two of which were sick this week, one new injury and an inelgible player that left just 15 players to suit up.  Ethan Vanderweide had 44 yards on 15 carries as the Chargers fell to 0-7 with their 18th straight loss.  Horton plays at ACCHS this week.
