TVL Tournament – Results

The high school volleyball season continued over the weekend for area teams as the Twin Valley League postseason tournament was held on Saturday and the Valley Heights Mustangs claimed the tournament championship to finish undefeated in the league.

The Mustangs went a perfect 3-0 in pool play Saturday with wins over Doniphan West, Hanover and Clifton-Clyde, before beating Wetmore in the semifinals and Centralia in the championship.

As to Centralia they got to the title match with wins over Washington County, Frankfort and Wetmore in pool play before beating Clifton-Clyde in the semifinals.

Other results from the TVL tournament include Clifton Clyde taking third after beating Wetmore in the third-place match.
