Sports in Kansas has started to release their postseason honors from the 2020 high school football season and Perry Lecompton senior linebacker Hayden Robb has been named the Class 3A Defensive Player of the Year.
This past season Robb cleared the 500-career tackle mark as he finished with 139 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and one interception.
He led Perry to a second straight runner-up finish at the state championship and an 11-2 record this season, falling to Andale 20-0 in the title game.
Robb finished his career with 515 tackles, 7.5 sacks, 34.5 tackles for loss, 12 forced fumbles and one interception while recording 11 tackles per game.
His career has earned him several NAIA college scholarship offers including Baker, Benedictine, Tabor, William Penn and Mount Mercy.
