Centralia Golf Wins at Washington County in Season Opener

Washington County Golf Invitational – Results

The high school golf season got underway Tuesday afternoon with area teams competing at the Washington County Invite and it was Centralia who took home the team title.

The Panthers ad three guys finish inside of the top 10 led by Trent Mars who won the meet with an 84, while Jude Conley tied for fourth and Paxton Bowers 10th.

Frankfort also had three guys inside of the top 10 with Joey Hardwick coming in third, Sebastian Thored fourth and Aiden Gerstner sixth.

Washington County added two more guys in the top 10 led by Kobe Hoover who shot an 88 to take second, while Konner Gepner tied for eighth.

The top 10 was rounded out by Nemaha Central who had Cassidy Corby finish as the highest girl in the meet shooting a 97 which was good for seventh while Isaac Lueger was right behind in eighth.
