Frankfort Bounces Back With Big Win Over Hanover
By Brandon Tadtman

Frankfort bounced back in a big way after their first loss of the season at Axtell with a 48-8 victory over Hanover on Friday night.

It was Frankfort's first win over Hanover since 2011 and only their second win in the last 17 meetings since 2008.

Frankfort scored touchdowns on their first two drives of the game to take a 12-0 lead. Hanover would get their only touchdown late in the first quarter on an Emmitt Jueneman 47 yard touchdown run.

After that it was all Frankfort as they would outscore Hanover 36-0 after the first quarter.

Frankfort freshman quarterback Ty Smith balled out finishing with 29 carries for 229 yards and four touchdowns. Frankfort outgained Hanover 425-78 and had 391 rushing yards while averaging over seven yards per carry.

Frankfort (5-1) will travel to Thunder Ridge for their week seven matchup while Hanover (3-3) returns home to host Linn.
