It was a Big Seven League showdown on the mat last night as the Sabetha Bluejays hosted fellow Big Seven League wrestling squads Santa Fe Trail and Perry Lecompton.

The Bluejays dominated the competition on the evening wins both of their duals with double figure margins as they downed Santa Fe Trail 45-6 and took down Perry Lecompton 45-27. Santa Fe Trail won the other matchup on the night over Perry Lecompton winning 45-24.

Highlighting things on the mat Sabetha had seven wrestlers have a 2-0 night with Austin Garber, Matthew Burdiek, Michael Baumgartner, Levi Huneke, Issac Wenger, Tyler Edelman and Jacob Leuthold each getting two wins on the evening. For Santa Fe Trail four wrestlers went 2-0 in action Zac West, Colin Koger, Andy Dennison and Ethan Dean. Perry Lecompton had Tyler Ball go 2-0 on the evening.
