Sabetha Boys Golf Team Takes Third at Marysville, NC's Lutz Finishes Tied for Second

The Sabetha boys golf team posted the best finish of area teams at the Marysville Invitational earlier this week at Marysville Country Club. 

Clay Center won the tournament with a team score of 334 while Wamego finished in second place with a score of 336. 

The Bluejays took third place with a score of 351 and they were followed by Nemaha Central with 354 while Concordia, Abilene, and Marysville rounded out the team scores. 

Nemaha Central's Carter Lutz posted the best individual finish as he tied for second with an 81. Sabetha's Matt Whittaker finished tied for fifth with an 83. 

Nemaha Central's Isaac Lueger finished top-10 as he tied for seventh with an 85 while Sabetha's Cullen Wikle also posted a top-10 finish as he finished tied for ninth with an 86.
