The Holton boys golf team posted a fifth place finish at the 4A Regional Tournament in Wamego at Wamego Country Club on Monday afternoon. 

The Wildcats finished with a team score of 391 which was good for fifth place as they finished three strokes better than Ottawa who finished in sixth place. 

Holton's top finish came from Parker Crouch who finished tied for 15th place with an 87. Gavin Barnes and Carson Taylor each shot 101 while Lucas Adcock shot a 102. 

Wamego won the tournament with a score of 314 as they posted five inside the top 10. 

Bishop Miege finished second just one stroke off Wamego with a 315 with Tonganoxie in third and Hayden in fourth place. 

Tonganoxie had the individual champion as it was Andrew Willson with a two-over round of 72 to win the tournament.
