With the volleyball season officially concluded last weekend, the Kansas Volleyball Association named its All-State players. There were plenty of area athletes who had phenomenal seasons, and here is who the KVA decided to award as the most elite volleyball athletes in the state.

In Class 3A, Nemaha Central fell just short of a state title, but seniors Addy Holthaus and Ella Larkin and sophomore Cali Honeyman all made the All-State team. This is Holthaus’s second All-State selection.

In Class 2A, the Jefferson County North Chargers finished third place at state. They also had seniors Audrey Bell and Macy Thompson make the 2022 All-State team.

Doniphan West also finished third at state in Class 1A DI as seniors Kyra Johnson and Avery Weathersbee got the prestigious honors.

In Class 1A DII, Hanover fell just short of winning it all, but three seniors made the All-State team. Those seniors are Ceegan Atkins, Massey Holle and Taeban Stallbaumer. This is Atkins’s second All-State selection.
