The State Track Meet posted a handful of area Champions for 2022.

Nemaha Central’s Connor Deters was the 3A Champ in the Shot Put. Valley Heights had Emma Yungeberg cap off her stellar career with three more 2A Titles in the Shot Put, Discus and Javelin. Emma continued her career at the University of Michigan.

Keegan Lott of ACCHS was the 2A Champion in the Shot Put while Jefferson County North had Adie Manville who was the 2A Champion in the High Jump.

Blue Valley’s Landry Zoeller was the 1A Champion in the Triple Jump while Centralia’s Reagan Becker won the Title in the High Jump.

Elle Williams of Doniphan West captured two more 1A Titles to cap her career as she finished with the gold in both 800 and 1600 Meter Runs.

Hanover also had a good showing in 1A as they picked up first place finishes in both the 4x100 and 4x400 Meter Relays on the girl’s side while Emmitt Jueneman was the 1A Champion in the Long Jump.
