The 2023 Belleville Lions Club Invitational wrapped up on Tuesday afternoon with plenty of area teams competing.
UPPER DIVISION
Girls: Nemaha Central finished in first place with 139 points followed by Beloit with 134 and Marysville with 106.
Minneapolis (55), Republic County (53), Concordia (46), and Valley Heights (19) rounded out the team scores.
Boys: Marysville had a big afternoon finishing in first place with 170.5 points followed by Concordia with 96 and Nemaha Central with 87.
Minneapolis (65), Beloit (49.5), Valley Heights (40) and Republic County (35) rounded out the team scores.
LOWER DIVISION
Girls: Clifton Clyde won the event with 136 points followed by Washington County with 110 and Axtell with 94.
Hanover (92), Linn (76), Blue Valley (59), Wakefield (40), Tescott (34), and Pike Valley (16) rounded out the team scores.
Boys: Axtell poured it on with another strong showing as they won the event with 212 points. Pike Valley finished in second with 82 and Clifton Clyde finished third with 72.
Tescott (67), Linn (65), Washington County (58), Blue Valley (42), Hanover (41), and Wakefield (30) rounded out the team scores.
