Sabetha Wins Sadowski Wrestling Tourney in Holton

Sabetha wrestling won the Gerald Sadowski Tournament at Holton on Saturday with 205.5 points among 24 teams competing. The Bluejays finished nearly 30 points ahead of second place Spring Hill and had three individual champions in Colin Menold (150), Cole Hinton (165), and Joshua Grimm (285). Cole Hinton also notched his 100th career win. Sabetha had Caleb Renyer and Dalton Rokey both place second in their respective bracket while Lincoln Menold and Cullen Wikle finished third. 

Holton was fifth in the team standings and had a trio of individual bracket winners as Lucas Batz (120), Kyler Jackson (165), and Dalton Roush (215) all went undefeated on the day. The Wildcats also got a second place finish from Cale Hein and third place medal from Cael Frazier.  

Nemaha Central was sixth place a team led by Keaton Rottinghaus (113) who won first place and a trio of second place finishes from: Harry Langill (106), Abram Keim (165) and Holden Bass (185).
