The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association have released their updated rankings for Feb. 13th as we're down to the final few games of the regular season.

Girls: Nemaha Central is up to number four in Class 3A behind only Silver Lake, Hayden, and Halstead. The Thunder won their game on Tuesday night against Royal Valley to improve to 16-2 overall and 12-0 in Big 7 League play. They control their own destiny on securing another Big 7 League Championship.

Riverside is down to number three in Class 2A behind only St. Mary's Colgan and Hillsboro. The Cyclones had been ranked number one for a good chunk of the season but are coming off a Saturday loss to Nemaha Central which gave them their first loss of the season. Riverside will play at Nemaha Central to wrap up the regular season on Feb. 20th.

Maur Hill-Mount Academy is ranked eight and is coming off a four point win on Tuesday night on the road at Pleasant Ridge. The Ravens are on the verge of securing the NEKL title for this season.

Centralia, Frankfort, and Clifton-Clyde remained ranked in Class 1A-I with the Panthers ranked third, the Wildcats fifth, and the Eagles ranked eighth.

Centralia is undefeated in Twin Valley League play and have a two-game lead on the rest of the field with Frankfort holding two league losses and Clifton-Clyde with three league losses.

Boys: Atchison is ranked number two in Class 4A behind only McPherson but the Phoenix lost just their second game of the season on Tuesday night against Highland Park. They still hold one of the top spots in Class 4A East in the Sub-State standings.

Sabetha moved up a spot to number six in Class 3A and they secured at least a share of the Big 7 League title with their win on Tuesday night against Perry-Lecompton. The Bluejays have won 27 straight Big 7 League games and they also secured the top-seed in the Royal Valley Sub-State.

Clifton-Clyde is ranked sixth in Class 1A-! while Axtell is ranked third in Class 1A-II. Clifton-Clyde and Centralia both have undefeated league records while Axtell has dropped a pair of TVL games this season.
