The first quarter was back and forth with mulitiple lead changes with the Panthers taking a five point lead into the second quarter.

Royal Valley would put together an 11-4 advantage in the second eight minutes to lead the game by 12 points at halftime.

They would have a lead as high as 14 points early in the second half before the Redhawks put together their rally.

Hiawatha trailed by nine going into the fourth quarter but fought back to take a 51-50 lead with under three minutes left.

However, turnovers and missed free throws down the stretch doomed the Redhawks and the Panthers were able to put the game away from the free throw line in the final seconds.

Landon Gilbert led Royal Valley with 19 points including 14 in the second half while Carson Beam added 10 points.

Hiawatha was led by Cameron Boswell with 21 points including five three-pointers while Kaden Morton finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
