#4 Hiawatha 41, #1 Sabetha 48

Both teams struggled in the first half to get much going as the Bluejays led the game 22-18 at halftime.

The Redhawks were able to hang around for a majority of the second half but turnovers and missed opportunities seemed to be the difference as Sabetha was able to hold on for the win.

Christian McAfee led the Bluejays with 12 points and 12 rebounds while Marcus Bauman added 12 points, all in the first half.

The Redhawks were led by Cameron Boswell who posted a game-high 19 points while Ethan Morton added 10 points.

Hiawatha's season comes to an end with a record of 9-13.

#6 Hayden 68, #2 Perry-Lecompton 51

The Wildcats and Kaws played even basketball for roughly two and a half quarters but Hayden's big first quarter and third quarter run seemed to be the difference.

Hayden came out of the gates hot on offense building a 24-9 lead late in the first quarter. The Kaws battled back and outscored the Wildcats in the second quarter and trailed 34-24 at halftime.

The two teams went back and forth early in the third quarter and the Kaws got as close as seven but wouldn't get any closer the rest of the game.

The Wildcats were balanced on offense led by Dom Ridley's 18 points while Mason Becker added 15 points. Carter Charvat finished with 13 points and Connor Hanika added 12 points.

The Kaws season ends with a record of 14-8 and were led in scoring by Ronnie Baker's 15 points. Tyler Reed and Eli Dean each added 12 points while Ayden Graves chipped in with 10 points.

#1 Sabetha (18-3) and #6 Hayden (7-15) will square off Saturday night at 5:00 PM at Royal Valley high school in the Sub-State Title Game. The ballgame will be broadcast live on KNZA 103.9 FM.
