The 103.9 KNZA baseball broadcast schedule continued on Thursday, April 24 with Jefferson West hosting Valley Falls. 

The matchup was featuring two of the best teams in their respective classifications with the Tigers ranked #2 in 3A and the Dragons ranked #7 in 2-1A. 

Jeff West scored two runs in the first inning and it was all that they would need as they defeated the Dragons 3-1. 

Brady Skahan hit a sac-fly and that was followed by an RBI single from Colin Crowson. The Dragons lone run in the game was in the third inning on an RBI single from Trenton VanHoutan. 

The Tigers added one more run in the fourth inning on a squeeze bunt by Ryan Pressler which scored Crowson. 

Cooper Watkins started the game and pitched five innings allowing one unearned run with four strikeouts and one walk. Tucker Holthaus pitched the final two innings and faced the minimum in both innings. 

Hayden Kearney got the start for the Dragons and pitched all six innings allowing three runs on six hits with three strikeouts. 

The Tigers won another tight battle in game two by a final score of 6-5 to stay undefeated on the season at 17-0.
