K-Preps have released their first rankings ahead of the week one high school football matchups. You can find the complete list of rankings here. 

In 8M-II, no shocker, Axtell starts the season at #1 after winning their fourth straight state championship in 2024. Hanover and Frankfort represent the TVL in the first rankings of the season as those two are ranked #3 and #4 respectively. 

In 1A, Jackson Heights starts the season ranked #2 behind only the defending champs Conway Springs. The Cobras will host Riverside in a massive week one matchup which you can catch on KNZA and the Cobra Channel. 

Centralia lost to Conway Springs in the title game last November and they will start the season ranked #3 while Rossville will hit the ground running ranked #4. 

The final two teams in 2A last season will begin the season at the top of the ranks in 2025. Southeast of Saline stopped Nemaha Central from the three-peat last November and are ranked #1 and #2 respectively to start.
