Pleasant Ridge over Horton (25-12, 25-23)

Pleasant Ridge came out with a shocking hot start against the Horton Chargers, taking set one 25-12, after going up early 9-4 before Horton took their first timeout. The Chargers would get it within two 9-7, but the Rams would run away with the set, taking sixteen out of the last twenty-one points, including the seven straight points to end the match. The second set would go a little tighter, but the Rams would be able to squeeze out the victory 25-23 after Horton came back to tie it at 23-23. Pleasant Ridge had nine different players score and finished with eight aces and sixteen kills. The sophomore Maggie Lance led the up front in kills for the Rams in the victory over Horton.
