2026 Rosters Announced for Shrine Bowl

The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced the 88 players selected to participate in the 53rd annual Kansas Shrine Bowl, set for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Welch Stadium on the campus of Emporia State University in Emporia.

Among those honored are eight standout players from Northeast Kansas who will suit up for the East All-Stars, representing some of the top talent the region has produced during the 2025 high school football season.

Northeast Kansas East All-Star Selections

  • Brody Barnes (Atchison) – 6’4”, 300-pound offensive lineman
  • Cael Frazier (Holton) – 6’1”, 218-pound linebacker
  • Carter Hajek (Nemaha Central) – 5’11”, 215-pound athlete
  • Andre Johnson (Rossville) – 5’11”, 185-pound linebacker
  • Dayne Johnson (Silver Lake) – 6’4”, 185-pound wide receiver
  • Colin Shaughnessy (Axtell) – 6’1”, 205-pound wide receiver
  • Osiris Unruh (Jefferson West) – 6’0”, 185-pound offensive lineman
  • Austin Zeller (Jackson Heights) – 6’4”, 220-pound tight end

Rossville head coach Derick Hammes will also represent Northeast Kansas, joining the East All-Stars coaching staff. The East squad will be led by head coach Mike Berg of Wellsville.

The Kansas Shrine Bowl showcases the state’s top graduating seniors while supporting Shriners Children’s, with proceeds benefiting pediatric specialty care, research, and education. The annual all-star event has been a Kansas football tradition for more than five decades.
