State golf tournaments wrapped up on Wednesday with area teams and individuals competing across multiple classifications. Here are the headlines and results from area golfers this week.
Class 3A at Lake Shawnee: Sabetha finished fourth place in the team standings with a two day total of 650 while Nemaha Central finished in fifth place with a two day total of 664.
Jefferson West finished in 10th place and Perry-Lecompton finished in 11th place in the team standings.
Holton's Easton Moulin finished tied for fourth place with scores of 76 & 76 while Perry-Lecompton's Toby Wagner finished tied for seventh place with rounds of 75 & 79. Sabetha's Hudson Scoby finished tied for 11th place with rounds of 75 & 80.
Nemaha Central's Layton Thomas finished tied for 21st place with two rounds of 80 and Colten Corby added a tied for 27th finish for the Thunder with rounds of 83 & 78.
Class 2A at Quail Ridge: St. Marys finished sixth in the team standings finishing with a two day total of 714.
Rossville's Jack Donovan fired rounds of 79 & 76 for a fifth place finish. Ben DeVader of St. Marys finished inside the top 25 with rounds of 83 & 87.
Class 1A at Turkey Creek: Onaga finished fifth in the team standings with a two day total of 697 while Centralia finished in sixth place with a two day total of 713.
Centralia had two inside the top 20 with Bronx Talley tied for 12th going 79 & 82 for his two rounds. Tyler Jones tied for 20th place with rounds of 79 & 87.
Onaga's Graham Valburg also tied for 20th place with a total of 166 with his two rounds being 83 & 83.
