Karn Putting People on Notice at Baker

The 7th ranked Baker Wildcats are off to a great start this season. They defeated Culver Stockton in their first game and followed that up with a big win over William Penn to improve to 2-0.

Freshman Canon Karn, a Holton native, has put his teammates and competition on notice posting 12 tackles to lead the team in their first game of the season. He also posted six more tackles against William Penn and currently is tied for the team lead in total tackles through two games.

Karn has also added two fumble recoveries, a half sack and 1.5 tackles for loss.

Last year, Karn’s senior season at Holton, tallied 69 total tackles. He also compiled 1,400 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. Karn also represented Holton in the last Shrine Bowl. For his prep career, Karn rushed for 2,181 yards scoring 29 touchdown while averaging nine yards per carry while earning multi-year All Big 7 and State honors.
