Julie Miller

This week's "Blast from the Past" is Julie Miller who recently finished her sophomore season with the Peru State College women’s basketball team.

The Peru State women finished off the 2021-2022 season with a 12-16 record and closed the season with a loss to Graceland a few weeks ago.

Julie averaged six points and six rebounds per game this season, but her last three games was the best stretch she put together all season.

In the final three games against Missouri Valley, Culver-Stockton and Graceland, Julie averaged 15 points and nearly 11 rebounds per game including posting two double-doubles.

At Missouri Valley her line was 15 points and 13 rebounds, vs. Culver-Stockton it was 14 points and nine rebounds, and at Graceland it was 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Julie played her high school ball at Pleasant Ridge and was Second Team All-League in the Northeast Kansas League during the 2018-2019 season and helped lead Pleasant Ridge to a 20-3 record.
