Katherine Madsen

The former Hiawatha Redhawk has had a tremendous sophomore season with the University of Saint Mary track and field team.

Katherine Madsen earned KCAC women’s outdoor track athlete of the week for her performances from April 10-16.

Her time in the 10K at the KU Relays was the top spot in the conference and the 15th fastest time in the NAIA this season.

Her senior season at Hiawatha resulted in a top-25 finish at the 3A State Cross Country Meet in November of 2020. She also won back-to-back Big 7 league individual titles during her junior and senior seasons.
