Pleasant Ridge Ram, Mallory Wagner Helping Highland Volleyball Start Strong

Former Pleasant Ridge Ram, Mallory Wagner has settled in at Highland Community College had has helped the Scotties volleyball team to an 12-3 start to the season.

Wagner has played in 12 of the teams 15 matches and picked up her impact with plenty of strong performances as the Scotties went 3-1 at the McCook Tournament in Nebraska and a five set conference win against KCKCC on Wednesday. The former Pleasant Ridge Ram has recorded 40 kills, 95 digs and four blocks on the season.

Her best performance came in a tough five set win over MCC-Longview at the HCC Invite as she recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 14 digs both her best marks in each category on the season. The last six matches Wagner has recorded two or more kills and in the last seven matches she’s notched three or more digs for the Scotties, while having six matches on the season with double figure digs.

Mallory finished her high school volleyball career earning first team All-Northeast Kansas League volleyball honors and also All-State honorable mention honors, while being a multi-sport athlete.

Highland volleyball team is off to another great start this year and Wagner looks to continue to contribute to the team as the Scotties have their sights set on another great year on the volleyball court.
