She has notched six or more strikeouts in five games this season and struck out 10 twice in two wins against Johnson County and Independence. Hamm also has had a few swings in her college campaign going 4-8 at the plate this season with four runs scored, an RBI, double, home run and two walks.

In high school Hamm was a strong contributor to the Oskaloosa Bears softball team helping the Bears win the Northeast Kansas League title four straight years, while also helping guide the program to a fourth place finish at State in 2015 and a 3A State runner-up finish in 2016 her junior year posting a 23-3 record that season.
