Holton scored on their first four offensive drives on Friday night at Sabetha and won 42-8 to improve to 3-0 on the season.  Cameron Karn earned the Citizens State Bank and Trust of Hiawatha Player to Bank On honors with 90 yards and a trio of touchdowns.  Trent Tanking led the Wildcats with 114 yards rushing on 7 carries while Drake Ewing added 12 totes for 94 yards, including a 43 yard score in the second quarter that make it 28-0 with just over 7 minutes to go.  Sabetha went three and out on their first three possesions of the game and ended the first-half with only one first down in the home opener.  Junior Gaven Schumann (junior) made his first varsity start, with senior Nolan Keim injured for the year, and completed 9 of 22 passes but could muster only 152 total yards offense for Sabetha in the game.  The Bluejays avoided the shutout with a 7-yard touchdown run from Brett Plattner to cap an 11 play, 83 yard drive with :17 left in the game. With senior McKenzie McAfee sidelined by injury, the Bluejays ran for less than 50 yards. Lane Lassister had two sacks for the Holton defense while Sabetha sophomore Alex Edelman recorded an interception for the only turnover of the night.  While Sabetha falls to 1-2 and will host Royal Valley in week four, the only two 3-0 teams left in the Big 7 colide on September 21st as Holton plays at upstart Hiawatha.
