Four area high school football teams are ranked in the top three of the state in their respective classes after three weeks of the 2012 season.
Holton remains number-one in Class 4A.
Defending state champion Centralia-Wetmore is ranked second in Class 2-1A.
In 8-Man Division Two, B&B is still ranked first while Frankfort is ranked third also at 3-0 in the same division. Clifton Clyde fell from the 8-Man Divison One ranks this week after suffering their first loss of the year to Pike Valley.
Other area teams that are 3-0 and receiving votes but just outside the top five include: Hiawatha, Riverside and ACCHS in Class 3A and McLouth in Class 2-1A.
