The Falls City Senior Legion Baseball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 2-1 win over EMN Nationals Sunday at SNC Field.

Brandt Vice drove in Lane Scheitel with the winning run in the bottom of the 6th inning.  Scheitel had doubled and went to third on a single by Wade Witt. 

The Blue Storm got on the board first, with a run in the 4th inning.  EMN Nationals tied the game in the top of the 6th, on an RBI single by Austin Closner.

Chase Thompson was the winning pitcher, in relief of starter Reese Hogue, who struck out eight batters over five innings of shutout ball.

Falls City plays its first road game of the season, at Doniphan County Wednesday night.
