It was a tough hitting night for the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat volleyball team as they finished hitting negative and lost to the host Evangel University Crusaders 25-19, 25-19, 25-19, in Springfield, Mo., on Tuesday night.

With the win, the Crusaders improved to 16-10 overall and 5-2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC), placing them fourth in the conference standings with two games remaining in conference play.  For the Bobcats, they fall to 8-21 overall and 1-6 in the HAAC.  Like the Crusaders, PSC has two conference games remaining and still are not mathematically out of post-season play.

The Bobcats will host their Dig Pink Day this coming Saturday, Oct. 20, when they host Central Methodist University.   The Eagles are 7-19 overall and 0-7 in the HAAC, just one game behind Peru State.   This is the final home game for the Bobcats.  Prior to the game, the College will recognize the team's parents and their seniors.
