The Nebraska High School State Cross Country meet will take place Friday at Kearney.
    The Auburn girls were district champions qualifying the entire team.
Running for Auburn will be Catherine Davison a senior;  Melissa Davison a junior;  Emily Slama a junior,  Lindsey Mertes, sophomore;  Sydni Burke a senior and Cierra Wynn a freshman.
    Jeff Allgood is the Coach of the Auburn cross country team.
    The Syracuse boys will also compete for a state title.  Junior Coleman Orchard, Tommy Lowman and Luke Pietzyk lead the team along with sophomores Derek Wiler and Riley Porter.  The Rockets are coached by Rich Ziegler. 
    The Auburn girls will run at 2 p-m with the Syracuse boys running at 3 p-m.
