The Atchison girls behind five event wins on the day earned second place as a team finishing only behind Lansing and 30 points ahead of third place, as eight schools were in action. On the boys side the Redmen finished fifth as a team out of nine schools.

Leading the way for the Atchison girls on the day was the performance of Elizabeth Harper who won a pair of events sprinting to the win in the 200 meter dash (28.67) and also winning the 100 meter hurdles (17.54). The other three first place finishes for the Atchison girls were earned in the field events as Jaihlyn Bratton, Morgan Perry and Lindsay Anderson picked up first place finishes in the triple jump (33'03.50), shot put (30'11) and discus (104'10.50), respectively.

The Atchison girl's 4x100 meter thrower's relay team grabbed a second place finish on the day, while Teagan Hanson earned a silver medal in the 3200 meter run. Adalynn Collins notched a pair of third place finishes coming in the 800 and 1600 meter runs, while Lanaizha Collins took third in the javelin.

In the boys action it was a pair of second place finishes that led Atchison as Austin Detimore earned second in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Matthew Sowers added a third place showing in the 3200 meter run for the Atchison boys.
