(KLZA)-- For the first time in 40 years, the Falls City Tigers will have a conference affiliation. 

The East Central Nebraska Conference administrators were finally able to meet via Zoom Wednesday, to take up consideration of Falls City Public School's application to the activity conference.

The conference unanimously voted to accept FCPS's membership into the conference.

Ryan Terwilleger, Superintendent of the Malcolm Public Schools and ECNC Director, congratulated Falls City Public Schools, and welcomed the Falls City educational community to the East Central Nebraska Conference.

ECNC member schools for 2020-2021 will include Elmwood-Murdock, Freeman, Johnson County Central, Malcolm, Mead High School, Palmyra, Weeping Water, Auburn, and Falls City.
