Sabetha's Schumann, Holton's Purcell Compete in KBCA All-Star Games

KBCA All-Star Game Box Scores – Girls & Boys

The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association held its annual all-star game Saturday in Salina and two local athletes competed in the game in Sabetha’s Melinna Schumann and Holton’s Kale Purcell.

Schumann stared in the girl’s game scoring 12 points in her blue squad’s 101-86 victory while pulling down six rebounds, dishing out four assists and collecting two steals.

Purcell meanwhile in the boy’s game scored four points for the gold squad in a 125-106 loss while also collecting five rebounds.
