The Hiawatha Volleyball team made some history on Tuesday night as they clinched the Big 7 League Title for the first time since 1997.
Hiawatha swept their home Tri with wins over Perry Lecompton (25-23, 23-25, 25-8) and Sabetha (25-20, 25-14) to cap off one of the best seasons in school history.
The Red Hawks only lost once in league play finishing 15-1 in Big 7 League play.
Hiawatha finishes the regular season 36-3 overall and have won 17 straight matches heading into Sub-State play this weekend.
