Two weeks of the high school football season are complete with some teams beginning to separate themselves from the pack.

K-Preps have released their week three rankings with some big time matchups on the way this Friday.

The Holton Wildcats (1-1) held serve at #4 in Class 3A this week after they beat Sabetha 35-14 which was their third straight win over the Bluejays.

Nemaha Central (2-0) remained at #2 in Class 2A behind only Southeast of Saline as the Thunder put up big time numbers in their 71-15 win over Royal Valley.

They tallied nearly 400 yards of offense and had 63 points on the board at halftime.

ACCHS (2-0) and Sabetha (1-1) were two teams in the considered category on the outside looking in for Class 2A.

Troy (2-0) jumps into the Class 1A rankings this week at #5 as the Trojans looked unstoppable in their 63-0 win over Valley Falls. The Trojans are off to a 2-0 start for the first time in four years.

Centralia (2-0), Jackson Heights (2-0), and Jefferson Couty North (1-1) are three teams being considered for the top-five in Class 1A.

Axtell (2-0) remained in the top spot in Class 8M-II after they rolled past Hartford 54-0. The Eagles scored 32 points in the first quarter en route to their 15th straight win.

The Eagles will have their toughest test of the season in week three as they travel to 8M-I #3 Clifton Clyde (2-0) on Friday night.
