Nemaha Central Volleyball Leads Big 7 with Five All-League Selections

The Nemaha Central volleyball team led the Big 7 in All-League selections for the 2022 season. The Thunder won the league title and finished runner-up in Class 3A. 

Seniors Addy Holthaus and Ella Larkin were unanimous selections while senior Sam Nordhus made All-League. The Thunder also had two Honorable Mention selections in sophomore Cali Honeyman and senior Lilly Schultejans. 

Royal Valley and Hiawatha each had three selections with two unanimous All-League selections. The Panthers two unanimous selections were seniors Kennedy Bryan and Alysa Ladson. Sophomore Samantha Klotz also earned All-League honors for Royal Valley. 

The Redhawks two unanimous selections were senior Josie Delaney and junior Abby Elffner while senior Sutton Diller also earned All-League honors. 

Sabetha had the last unanimous All-League selection in senior Mary Lukert. Sophomore Erin Boltz also earned All-League honors for the Bluejays. 

Perry Lecompton's lone All-League selection was junior Taylor Damme while senior Ella Besler was named Honorable Mention. 

Jefferson West had two selections with junior Rees Brown earning All-League honors while junior Olivia Scott was named Honorable Mention. 

Riverside earned one spot on the All-League team with junior Taylor Weishaar. Holton had two named Honorable Mention with senior Timber Wilson and junior Cora Miller.
