Latest KBCA Rankings Released Amidst Midseason Tournaments

Another week of the basketball season in the books. Here is the latest poll released by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.

Nemaha Central moves up one spot in the poll to number three in Class 3A for the girls. ACCHS makes a hefty leap of three spots to number six in the lastest rankings as well.

In Class 2A, Jackson Heights falls one spot to number four in the state. Meanwhile, Riverside leaps up three spots to become a top-five team right at number five.

In Class 1A-D1, Clifton-Clyde remains at number four while at they duke it out in the TVL Tournament. Frankfort moves up one spot to number eight as well. Doniphan West enters the rankings coming in at number nine. Meanwhile, Centralia tumbles out of the rankings.

Hanover is still the top dog in Class 1A-D2. Linn gets some love from the KBCA by moving up two spots to number seven in the state.

For the boys’ side, Atchison is fifth in the state in Class 4A.

Sabetha remains number two in the KBCA’s latest Class 3A rankings.

In Class 1A-D1, Centralia stays at number two only behind Olpe. Clifton-Clyde sits at number four not making any movement from last week’s rankings. Blue Valley stays steady and remains at number seven in the state.

Axtell has leapfrogged Hanover in the latest rankings as the Eagles climb up to number three in the most recent poll. Hanover slides back one spot to number four.
