The 37th annual Northeast Kansas All-Star volleyball match took place on Saturday at Highland Community College. 

Team Navy defeated Team Gold in five sets 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 16-25, and 15-12. 

In the first set, Team Gold jumped out to an early 9-3 advantage before Team Navy battled back. Team Gold led 19-15 before Team Navy scored 10 of the last 11 points to take the first set. 

Team Navy would score five of the first seven and 11 of the first 15 points in the second on their way to the early 2-0 lead. 

Team Gold fought their way back taking a hard fought set three and a more comfortable set four which sent it to the fifth set tied at 2-2. 

Team Navy scored the first three points in set five and built a 10-5 lead before taking the final set and the match. 

Team Gold members included Sophia Bott, Keala Wilson, Massey Holle, Samantha Nordhus, Addy Holthaus, Ella Thalmann, Megan Beier, Mary Lukert, Jessica Gruber, Jaidyn Johnson, Elise Curry and Darcy Ashcraft. 

Team Navy members included Kyra Johnson, Avery Weathersbee, Macy Thompson, Claire Jobbins, Audrey Bell, Taya Smith, Reagan Becker, Lena Haverkamp, Jeslyn Coker, Kanyon Olberding, and Kaylee Thompson.
