Sabetha Boys Golf Takes Home Regional Title

The Sabetha boys golf team continued their incredible season with a Regional Championship on Tuesday afternoon in Sabetha. 

The Bluejays will head to state next week after winning the tournament with a team score of 329 which was 10 strokes better than second place Rossville. 

Cullen Wikle tied for second place with a round of 79 while Roman Scoby finished in fifth place with an 81. 

Silver Lake's Bryce Badsky won the tournament with a round of 77. 

Nemaha Central finished in third place as a team and will send two to state next week with Isaac Lueger and Aidan Broxterman. Lueger finished in the top 10 with an 82 while Broxterman finished with an 88. 

Marysville finished in fourth place followed by Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Jefferson West and Silver Lake to round out the team scores. 

The Class 3A State Tournament will be held in Dodge City on May 22-23. You can find out more information about the state golf tournaments here
