ACCHS Wrestling Dominates Silver Lake Invite

The ACCHS boys wresting squad claimed the team championship of 29 teams that competed on Saturday at the Silver Lake Invitational. The Tigers combined for 241 points while second place Marysville had 190 followed by Nemaha Central with 141 total points in third. 

ACCHS had eight graplers reach the championship bout in their weight class. Five Tigers won an individual title to complete a perfect day, including: Adler Koontz (126), Max Bottorf (150), Easton Schletzbaum (157), Nick Cairo (190) and Vincent Webb (215). Placing second on the day for ACCHS was Cody Falk (120), Austin Smith (138), and Kannon Crossland (165). 

Nemaha Central had four individual champions in Harry Langill (106), Keaton Rottinghaus (113), Abram Keim (165) and Holden Bass (285), and a third place finish by Lucas Holthaus (132). 

Jaxon Vice of Maur Hill Mount Academy led the Ravens with a championship in the 120 pound weight class. Colsen Perry earned a second place finish for Oskaloosa at 215 pounds. Royal Valley had Cyrus Harding finish second at 190 pounds and Jeff West got a second place finish from Karson Kahler at 126.
