Sports in Kansas have released their Coach of the Year awards for the 2023-2024 season with Frankfort's Brian Ebert and Riverside's Craig Burnes earning honors this year.

Ebert led Frankfort to a 22-3 record this season and the school's first State Championship in school history. He's been with the Frankfort programs since 2000 and he led the boys team to a State Championship in 2012.

Ebert has been the girls head coach since the 2016-2017 season and has compiled a record 149-46 and has totaled 367 wins in his coaching career.

Burnes has led Riverside to back-to-back runner-up finishes in Class 2A with the Cyclones falling to Berean Academy and Wichita Independent in the title games. Burnes has 57 wins over his last two seasons with the Cyclones and finished this season with a 23-3 record and second place finish in the Big 7 league.
