Nemaha Central hosted their Invitational boys golf tournament on Tuesday (4/16) with 14 teams participating.
Teams competing included Nemaha Central, Sabetha, Holton, Washington County, Jefferson West, Centralia, Maur Hill-Mount Academy, Perry-Lecompton, and Oskaloosa.
Wamego dominated the field and won the tournament with a team score of 313 and they had four of the top five medalists. Kaden Tyner won the tournament with a score of 75.
Sabetha's Roman Scoby finished in second place with a round of 78. The Bluejays finished in second place with a team score of 321. Cullen Wikle shot an 80 while Cole Grimes shot an 81 which placed them both inside the top 10.
Holton finished fourth place with a team score of 357 and they were led by Brody Meyer's 82 which got him an 11th place finish.
Maur Hill-Mount Academy also posted a top 10 finisher with Luke Siebert finishing in a tie for eighth place with an 81.
